Privacy Policy

Everything you paste into a FlyTix formatter (PNRs, passenger names, ticket numbers, booking references, fares) is parsed by JavaScript running in your own browser. FlyTix has no backend server that receives this text and no database that stores it.

• It is not uploaded, logged, or stored by us.
• It is not saved in your browser either. It disappears when you clear the box, reload, or close the tab.
• It is never included in analytics events or sent to advertising providers. Our analytics events only carry non-identifying metadata such as the GDS name ("amadeus"), the number of flight segments, and which button was clicked.
• Copy, Print and PDF export use your browser's own clipboard and print functions. The PDF is produced by your browser's "Save as PDF" option, not by a server.

Like most websites, FlyTix uses the following services to measure usage:

• Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd). It records page views, approximate location (country/city derived from IP address), device and browser type, referring site, and the anonymous interaction events described above. Outside the EEA, UK and Switzerland it may set first-party cookies (such as _ga) to distinguish visits. Inside the EEA, UK and Switzerland we do not currently ask for consent, so Google Consent Mode is set to "denied": Google Analytics stores no cookies there and sends only cookieless measurement requests (which still include your IP address, browser details and the page visited, but are not linked to you by a cookie identifier). • Cloudflare hosts the site and provides Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without using cookies. As our hosting provider, Cloudflare also processes IP addresses and request logs to deliver and protect the site.

Analytics data is retained according to the settings and policies of those providers (Google Analytics data retention is configured in our Google Analytics account). We use it only to understand overall traffic and improve the site.

FlyTix stores one value in your browser's local storage: your light/dark theme preference (flytix-theme). It contains no personal or reservation data and is never sent to us.

FlyTix may show advertising from Google AdSense to keep the service free. Advertising is currently switched off. If it is switched on:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on those visits.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info.
• Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland will be asked for consent through a Google-certified consent message before personalised ads are shown.
• Ads are never placed inside the formatter input, the formatted itinerary, or printed/PDF output, and we never pass reservation data to ad providers.

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use it only to reply. Please do not send real PNRs, passenger names, ticket numbers or other passenger data. Redact them first (see the contact page).

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California law), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of personal data about you. Because FlyTix does not receive reservation data, the personal data we could hold is limited to analytics data held by the providers above and any emails you send us. To make a request, email [email protected]. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

FlyTix is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 13.
